N.S. Saravanan
District Governor 2024-25, Rotary International District 3234
Rtn. Saravanan is fondly called as Namma Sara in the Rotary Circles. He is the Managing Director of YENNES Infotec (P) Limited which is in its 30th year and a leading and one of the largest partner for Tally - Accounting Software in India with 8 offices in Tamil Nadu.
Rtn. Saravanan joined the Rotary International in year 2000. He was the president of his club during 2005-06 and bagged several awards including best President Award. He later became active in District and held several key district posts. Rtn. Saravanan is a multi-faceted personality and is known for his leadership qualities.
Now he is a Charter Member of Rotary Club of Chennai Mitra. As it was a new club, he had to take up presidentship for the second time during 2017-18. Again, he bagged the top awards in the category.
With keen interest in providing vocational training. He supports three Vocational Centers with Tally Training. These students are also offered placements. Also regularly provides Tally Training to many Colleges through various Rotary Clubs in Tamil Nadu. During the lockdown period, he trained over 1600 people online and many have been employed now.
Rtn.Saravanan held many posts Assistant Governor, District Chairman – Club Service, PETS Chair, Chief District Coordinator, District Chairman – Membership Development and Chairman – District Awards.
Rtn.Saravanan was the sports secretary at his school Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Madras and an avid hockey player. He was selected in the Madras District Juniors Hockey team. He also represented Hockey team in the Nationals of the KV schools’ Hockey tournament as the captain for the Madras Region.
Rtn.Saravanan is married to Bharati who is Director in YENNES. They have two daughters Shobhitha studying post graduation at MICA, Baltimore, USA and Anisha who is studying in 11th at Sishya.
He and Bharati are Major Donor Level 2 and contributed over USD 30,000 to the Rotary Foundation. He has supported many Global Grant Projects. He is member of Paul Harris Society, Rotary Benefactor and signed endowment fund for USD 25000. Both daughters are Paul Harris Fellow.
He is District Governor 2024-25 and will be the charter governor for the new RI District 3234
